To be able to satisfy the giants like British Airways was no easy task. Six months testing and designing a first class product for BA has now been completed. BA will receive there first batch of units this December. It was a challenge to supply a company like BA, a solution that required a minimum of two years battery life, with the tracker being on at all times.
Tracking an asset at any second around the globe was one of there main requirements. There was also the task of manufacturing a bespoke case for BA that could with stand extreme weather conditions and require the casing to be extremely robust, over 25mm thick.
We also went further then this and produced an asset software that updates every 15 seconds and informs BA where any asset is at any time. We also geocoded the airports to allow the software to inform them what “hanger” or “Runway” there asset was situated.
Every single case was hand made in the UK and engraved with there logo and a unique individual code to BA for every case.
We look forward in working with BA and others that require that something special, because being different was simply not out there, we know this because there was some good competition for this contract. However we are confident that Gotek7 will keep moving forward and being innovative, we are certainly looking forward to releasing new products and designs for 2014. Many thanks to BA.
